Welcome to the website of Arthur and Imelda. On this website you will find information about Photo and Video, about the programs we use to edit photo and video.
We will tell you about eCs ( was Os/2 ) and there is a page for Arthur and one for Imelda to put other interest there.
We started with this design on 2009-03-22. The site is made in XHTML and CSS. We use some java-script as well.
For now the java-script used is for the menu and for the date. Later we added javascript for the web-albums.
As time goes by we will add more information to this site. Now that the lay-out is finished we will fill the site with information. On the links page we will add some interesting links. The video page ( is the idea ) is for streaming video but we don't know if we will succeed in this. At this time there are some flash slide-shows you can watch.
On the photo page we will add photo albums and on the audio page we will add information about our music collection. Most likely the name of this page will change somewhere in the future to database. We want to put our music and film collection on the internet so we can reach it from everywhere on this planet. When we do so you will need a user-name and password to enter this page. Like I said before this is just the beginning.
The reason we restarted with a new design is because the old design was pure HTML. Changing to XHTML and CSS we are more flexible in color adjustment, font adjustment etc. There are some very good sites about CSS where I get most of the information from. Later I will add links to these sites on the link page.
We hope you like to visit our site and that we can interest you as-well. We hope that you will come back to visit us again so you can see the changes we have made. We try to keep a log on the web-log page where we give a short note about the changes.
